Fneish: Opposition would run united in the upcoming parliamentary elections
Source: nowlebanon.com, 26-02-2009
In an interview with Ad-Diyar newspaper on Thursday, Minister of Labor Mohammad Fneish denied rumors that there was dispute among members of the opposition.
Fneish said that having differing views regarding the formation of electoral lists was acceptable, but said that the opposition would run united in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
He added that meetings between Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Speaker Nabih Berri and Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun would continue, but he refused to provide any additional information.
Fneish asked that all political parties, despite their differences, avoid provocative political language in their speeches.
