Sheikh Qassem received Kaddoumi: protecting Arab security starts by supporting Arab resistance in Gaza & in Lebanon

The Deputy Secretary-General of Hizbullah Sheikh Naim Qassem received the President of the Political Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization, the Central Committee Secretary of Fatah, Mr. Farouk Kaddoumi and his advisers, Mr. Farouk Izza and Mr. Anwar Abdul Hadi, in the presence of Hizbullah political council member Haj Mohammad Hodroj.

Qaddumi said after the meeting: "We had the honor of meeting with His Eminence, Sheikh Naim Qassem, with regards to problems surrounding the Arab region, especially the brave Arab resistance. In south Lebanon or in Gaza's north, no doubt the resistance reinforced Arab presence and dignity, and highlighted the Palestinian issue as a just cause to the world."

He added: "Protecting Arab security starts by supporting Arab resistance in Gaza and in Lebanon. National unity must be the primary objective for the Palestinian people, bringing their ranks together to then build the PLO. Furthermore, solidarity and sympathy among Arab resistance movements that started in Palestine, Lebanon and Iraq must be enhanced, because Arab security is reinforced only by the resistance, by national unity, Islamic unity and solidarity across the entire region."

Qaddumi concluded saying: "These are the sound ways which guarantee the Middle East with its entire Arab and Islamic States, immunity against any foreign policy or having to succumb to the will of the West, which covets our wealth, the reason why Arab and Islamic resistance is the path to freedom from all these foreign lesions and influences."
