Aoun: Victory Certain in Keserwan, Jbeil, Baabda, Metn
The head of the Change and Reform parliamentary bloc MP Michel Aoun renewed on Tuesday confidence that his Free Patriotic Movement will emerge victorious out of the forthcoming parliamentary elections, stressing that victory was certain in many districts such as Keserwan (northeast of Beirut), Byblos (or Jbeil, located in mount Lebanon) , Baabda (western Lebanon) and Metn (east of Beirut).
Speaking to NBN television, Aoun renewed his rejection to the "special services" ahead of the elections, saying that he was committed for "general services" in order for all people to benefit from the services. He pointed to the achievements made by the FPM ministers in the Telecommunications and Social Affairs ministries under ministers Gebran Bassil and Mario Aoun respectively.
Aoun assailed once again the so-called "centrist movement," reiterating his belief that the centrist bloc was an alias for the March 14 bloc. "What does it mean to fight the corruption for centrist people?" the FPM leader wondered.
"Our electoral position in all Lebanon is very strong," Aoun said, adding that the people's trust and confidence "urges us to choose the best we have to represent them."
