Coordination meeting of Amal & Hizbullah emphasizes communications between electoral machines

Amal and Hizbullah leaderships held a coordination meeting at the headquarters of the Mount Lebanon and North regions.

The attendees discussed the latest political developments and issued a statement stressed that "Lebanon is a country of diversity and multiplicity in its social and cultural make up, a crossroads of civilizations and a beacon of intellectual creativity, which constitute the real wealth of Lebanon", they stressing "to ensue the commitment to the principle of partnership, to reject monopolisation and the canceling out of other parties, to strive to arrive at a political authority that achieves patriotic concepts and principles as any sovereign state would."

They also emphasised "balanced development between different regions of Lebanon, not to differentiate between regions according to confession and sect or pro-government and opposition, so that we can achieve the model of co-existence and national unity embodied in the present government."

They "reaffirmed the importance and the need for communication and coordination between the electoral machines, to strive to overcome obstacles to achieve the best results in the elections."
