Yaghi: Should the opposition win a real model of governance will be presented
Source: Hizbollah Staff, 09-03-2009
Al-Bekaa Hizbullah official & former MP Mohammad Yaghi, in an honorary ceremony for graduates in memorizing the Holy Quran in Baalbek city said "As far as we are concerned, the parliamentary elections in Lebanon's modern history are important but not fateful."
He said: "Today, there are two opposing political lines; one line wants accord, partnership and resistance in approach and in deed, to create a strong firm country, pressed tightly together in the face of any conspiratorial western project. This clear vision we are talking about cannot be changed. Meanwhile, the other line is still betting on Western powers under their own vision."
In conclusion, Yaghi said "In the event the opposition wins, it will provide a real model at the level of governance. At the same, we do not prefer to rule the country without ‘the other'."
