Fneish: Syria will not change its position on the Resistance, Arab rights and confronting US domination
Minister of Labor Mohammad Fneish told Al-Markaziya news agency on Thursday that the return of communication between Arab leaders and officials was positive.
Fneish exclaimed that, "we know the Resistance's role and principles, but we understand that other countries have their own policies and approaches," adding that "this is not the first time Syria forges relations with the US administration.
He added that "it was important to pave the way for unifying the Arab stance through defining Arab challenges, committing to Arab issues and identifying priorities for confronting the enemy."
As for Hizbullah's stance on the subject, he said, "this openness is considered a formality. Syria will not change its position on the Resistance, Arab rights and confronting US domination."
Commenting on the gap that lied between Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun and Speaker Nabih Berri's views on certain matters, Fneish said, "They have differing opinions concerning some details, but concerning core issues, the Resistance is unified."
