Raad: Arab reconciliations build grounds for strong presence of resistance in the region, elections pivotal for creating

Head of the Loyalty to the resistance parliamentary bloc MP Mohammad Raad noted that both the loyalty and opposition attempt to achieve parliamentary majority since that majority would contribute to passing legislations, monitoring the government and its abidance to the options that would preserve the country and strengthen its economy and national security, and preserve public freedom.

Raad added, "We are faced with two options: One that wants to build a strong coherent state capable of withstanding the enemy's conspiracies and aggressions, and capable of building its economy, policy, education, culture, and mass media in conformance with such strategy....And between the second option which wants Lebanon to become a commodity to be bought and sold and displayed in auctions based on the profits of some independents in this country.

The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc stressed that, "the regional and international mood is in favor of the people's choice after the failure of the projects of ex-US president George Bush." Raad added, "The current Arab reconciliations funnel in the direction of building grounds for a strong presence of the resistance in the region. Hence, these reconciliations should continue in their path seriously to protect the Arab options and open the doors to new friends of Arabs and the Arab cause like Iran and Turkey, as opposed to the Arab approach during the Bush era that replaced the enmity of "Israel" with the enmity of Iran."
