Lebanon – As the American enemy persists in its crimes and the “Israeli” entity intensifies its brutal aggression against Gaza, Yemen rises once again from the depths of its wounds to offer sincere and unwavering support. From a position of faith and loyalty, the Yemeni people today stand like an unsheathed sword in the nation’s battle, raising the banner of solidarity and wielding their weapons in defense of land and sanctities.

Yemeni military and strategic expert Brigadier General Mujib Shamsan spoke to Al-Ahed News, offering a clear analysis of the current situation on Yemen’s fronts. He affirmed that the equation has shifted and that Sanaa is now shaping a new regional balance with a clear message: “Escalation will be met with escalation… and the supporter will not be broken.”

Yemen: A Position of Initiative, Not Reaction

Brigadier General Shamsan stressed that Yemen, for more than a year and a half, has taken the lead in supporting Palestine, engaging in a battle of duty rather than propaganda. He emphasized that Yemen’s position is neither emotional nor momentary, but deeply rooted in a belief that the Palestinian Cause is Yemen’s central cause — an issue of identity and destiny.

He added, “What Yemen has offered in terms of capabilities and qualitative operations in support of Gaza surpasses what it used even in its eight-year confrontation with the aggression coalition against Yemen. This proves that the Palestinian cause lives in the Yemeni conscience—before and after the rifle.”

The American Campaign: Military Arrogance Concealing Strategic Failure

On the American aggression against Yemen, Brigadier General Shamsan stated, “The Biden administration—and before it, Trump’s—launched massive military campaigns involving aircraft carriers, stealth bombers, and strategic bombers, yet they failed to achieve any meaningful results. They could neither contain our capabilities nor stop our operations, nor were they able to protect 'Israeli' ships.”

He noted that US aircraft carriers now avoid Yemeni waters and remain more than a thousand kilometers from Yemen’s coastlines.

Ras Issa Massacre: Field Failure Avenged on Civilians

Commenting on the latest US massacre at the civilian port of Ras Issa, Brigadier General Shamsan said, “This crime was nothing but a desperate attempt to avenge their failure on the battlefield by targeting innocent civilians. But they failed to understand that Yemenis, who have lived under bombardment since 2015, will not be shaken by Washington’s missiles.”

He stressed that this aggression provided Sanaa with further justification to escalate its operations, warning that upcoming responses will not resemble previous ones—they will carry sharper messages and deliver deeper strikes at the enemy’s core.

Claims of Destroying Yemeni Capabilities: Fragile Media vs. Concrete Reality

In response to repeated US claims that it has destroyed Yemen’s missile capabilities, Brigadier General Shamsan said the facts speak for themselves. Yemeni missiles and drones continue to reach deep into occupied territories, while the US struggles with an intelligence vacuum and lacks a real target bank.

He added that Yemen has developed its military capabilities under siege and war from day one, relying on internal strength and advanced tactics. He warned that any new aggression will not go unanswered and will further expose the crumbling nature of the American military system.

Yemen Remains Where It’s Meant to Be

In conclusion, Brigadier General Shamsan told Al-Ahed: “Yemen, in its honorable stance, will not retreat regardless of the level of escalation. Every act of aggression only strengthens our resolve and resilience. We are waging a sacred battle—the battle of a nation with no room for neutrality. We will continue our support operations in all forms until the aggression ends and the siege on Gaza is lifted.”
