Raad: Some talk of sovereignty & independence but practice subordination to foreign powers

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc's Head MP Mohammad Raad, brought to attention that "a homeland is built on true and honest options, rather than begging and empty gambles on international friendships, in a world ruled only by interests.

Raad stressed that "the elections are for consolidating our people's commitment to resistance and to building Lebanon as a strong and capable country, in which State a project of equality and justice among citizens can be found and balanced development can be established. This project and commitment will be realized during the elections.

Raad added that "some present slogans of sovereignty, freedom and independence but in reality only practice subordination to and comply with foreign powers without anything to do with independence. We want genuine sovereignty and independence. We want complete liberation of our country from the contaminated Zionist occupation instead of succumbing to their conditions and dictates."

He said "What is required is of people to live calmly during the elections. We are confident the opposition will succeed not only in the south in these elections. We are confident the opposition choice will succeed in the ballot boxes."
