Ammar: We are approaching a new phase & challenge, if we slacken, corruption will spread further

Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, MP Hajj Ali Ammar congratulated the Lebanese youth who have reached eighteen years of age on being given their legitimate right to vote.

In his speech MP Ammar stressed on dealing with and facing the coming elections responsibly, because we are heading to a new phase and a new challenge, should we slacken, corruption will spread more and more.

He affirmed that the opposition's national program is about upholding a fair, strong, and secure state in the true sense of the word. We want a state with no place for naturalization of Palestinian refugees or for partitioning, we want a state that is active at all control, accounting and auditing apparatus levels.

He concluded by saying: "We want a state that views all its citizens on equal footing, not a state that neglects defense of the South, leaving it vulnerable to daily "Israeli" assaults, usurp and violations."
