Sheikh Qaouk: Opposition extends the hand of reconciliation & partnership ~ it represents a guarantee for protecting Leb

Hizbullah Official of the South, Sheikh Nabil Qaouk confirmed during a meeting with the party's women's electoral machine at the in Markaba Hussainiya Town Hall, in Marjayoun - Hasbaya District that "Hizbullah is not waiting for the next parliamentary elections in order to protect the resistance", and that "Hizbullah's priority is for the opposition to win to increase its share, and not Hizbullah's. This is evidence of our determination and adherence to national rather than partisan or denominational constants."

He affirmed that "the opposition today is on the road to a political victory that protects its achievements on both political and popular levels". Also, "the resistance was able, through its military and political victories, to secure equations too difficult for anyone to ignore that are stronger and larger than any coming future election."

Sheikh Qaouk said "The opposition presents a vision that guarantees Lebanon's emergence from political division on the basis of securing national partnership, which is the key to building a state for all Lebanese and not only for a party, group, sect or denomination."

He concluded saying "the opposition extends a hand of reconciliation, cooperation and partnership, which is a guarantee and a gain for all the Lebanese, as it enables political reform in the country and protection of Lebanon's identity from falsification or distortion by being dragged under U.S. tutelage or to axis that meet with the U.S. project."
