Fneish: Agreement with LibanPost is designed to comfort people ~ Work is under way to overcome some gaps

"Ad-Diyar" Newspaper reported Labor Minister Mohammad Fneish's indication that ‘the ongoing rhetoric of fears and concerns some people are raising round the agreement between the Ministry of Labor and "LibanPost" is misdirected", stressing that "the aim behind this move is to comfort people.

Meanwhile, we are working in the ministry on sending permanent inspectors; there are daily meetings with «LibanPost» bosses to address changes that may emerge. He pointed out "the existence of some gaps we are working to overcome."

He also pointed out "the full responsiveness of the administration of «LibanPost» who is working on meeting our requests, addressing the emerging problems and on finding quick solutions to them."

Minister Fneish stressed that "any error or delay, to the detriment of the citizen, the administration of «LibanPost» bears its responsibility and any financial penalties thereto; «LibanPost» is the contracted company and signatory to the contract committing it."
