Loyalty to the Resistance bloc delegation visited al-Hoss: The Arab summit has not achieve the expected level
A delegation from the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, included MPs Mohammad Raad, Amin Shirri, Deputy Vice-Chairman of Hizbullah Political Council Mahmoud Qamati visited former Prime Minister Salim Hoss, where they discussed the country's domestic situation and the due elections.
Following the meeting, MP Raad said "The meeting with the former PM was consultative, something we have become accustomed to with His Excellency from time to time. Doubtless to say we covered the elections topic in our discussion, being close to election time. We were pleased with his committed stand to calm patriotic language, which rises above the ongoing raging sectarian and ethnic rhetoric being employed by some, in the framework of preparations for the forthcoming elections. We also assessed some of the developments in the Arab arena and found our views were close as usual."
On the subject of MP Walid Jumblatt's recent stands, Raad said "Let's not rush things, but the approaches taken by Walid Jumblatt and the Progressive Socialist Party appear bolder and more realistic than others."
With regards to the Arab Summit held in Doha last Monday, Raad said "It does not have the expected level as it settled only for form and decorum, but we hope this form acts as good foundation that establishes for good substance in the future."
For his part, PM Salim Hoss strongly denounced the continued 'Israeli' enemy's suffocating siege on the Gaza Strip and the barbaric 'Israeli' practices committed against the Palestinian people there.
Al-Hoss condemned the continued subjugation of the Rafah crossing describing it as "unjustified arbitrary practices, whereby it is opened and closed to a pattern that is not understood."
