Italian delegation visits Hizbullah’s Foreign Relations Office

Sheikh Yousef Daamush, Hizbullah's official for its Foreign Relations Unit, received an Italian delegation representing Liche district municipalities union headed by Mr. Luigi Sarjo, mayor of Maritinalo. The delegation included Thoasi Antonio, April Lubiano, and Francesco de Leo. The meeting occurred in the presence of secretary general of the Arab-Italian friendship center Dr. Talal Khreis in addition to the media official in Hizbullah's Foreign relations unit Taher Beidoun.

Sarjo spoke of "Hizbullah's role in bringing together the various Lebanese parties in a national unity framework" and "Italy's concern for Lebanon's unity and its keenness on presenting all possible support for the Lebanese people."

Sarjo drew attention to the "aid that is presented by the Liche municipalities union that was granted to several town including the town of bazuriyeh which bears great significance to Italians since it is the hometown of secretary general Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah...as well as other Lebanese villages."

Sheikh Daamoush highlighted the "great role that is played by the Italian municipalities on the level of coupling with sister Lebanese towns and standing to the side of the Lebanese people."

Sheikh Daamoush thanked the delegation for its concern and interest in "Lebanon's unity and strength".

Sarjo also expressed his anticipation and eagerness to "meet Hizbullah secretary general Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, a huge historic icon of this age."
