Moussawi: Arab & American intelligence on the ground overseeing election battle

International Relations Official in Hizbullah Nawwaf Moussawi said, "The key to preserving Lebanon free and independent, a model of co-existence and consensual democracy, is through the opposition team achieving an unequivocal numerical majority in the coming parliamentary elections."
Moussawi said that "Holding of a graduation ceremony of a Lebanese intelligence group under the patronage of an Ambassador of a foreign country is a diminution of sovereignty and proof that what the U.S. Administration is doing in Lebanon is tutelage in the full sense of the word." He added: "for the fifth time and without any shame the U.S. ambassador assaults Lebanon's sovereignty and interferes in internal affairs."

He added: "Through the parliamentary elections, this will be the last time the U.S. ambassador dares intervene in Lebanese affairs with such insolence."
Moussawi drew attention to "The American and Arab intelligence today, not only are they funding the electoral process in Lebanon, but are overseeing developments on the ground, as well as coordinating candidacy lists."
