Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah, criticized the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, who mobilizes the International Establishment for the security of "Israel", yet resorts to silence when it comes to massacres committed by "Israel" against the Lebanese and the Palestinians", adding that "Some of these massacres were committed in the United Nations headquarters at Qana in 1996, others in 2006 against Lebanon and more recently in the aggression on Gaza."

The recent stand in which Ban Ki-moon lashed out at Hizbullah, was condemned by Fadlallah who said "The international community and the UN could not provide protection to refugees in one of its headquarters."

Fadlallah expressed regret at seeing "this international organization and its Secretary-General often view issues associated with our struggle against 'Israel' only monocularly, without lifting a finger to confront 'Israel' over massacres it committed in the past, and anew in the Gaza Strip, so much so that the United Nations and its Secretary-General were not able to take a firm stand in the face of this 'Israeli' terrorism and criminality."
