Ammar criticizes power failures in Dahiyeh

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Ammar told President Michel Suleiman that cabinet should "shoulder its responsibilities and tackle the dire situation of the electricity sector, which is affecting the ability of citizens to work and live, especially in Dahiyeh."

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Ammar said, "Despite our intense meetings with officials in the power ministry, the power shortages continue, and the situation is getting worse."
