Head of Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Mohammad Raad said: "We are at a stage which requires close ranks and a realistic united vision to face it. He indicated adding "We will not seclude ourselves in the expression of our political choices to meet these challenges. On contrary, we insist that our role be complementary to those of others in the anticipated government."

He pointed out that "We need a right understanding, but such understanding requires the parties, which stand for "calcified convictions" that have become something of the past without connection to the present or to reality, to make concessions.

In his speech MP Raad touched on the domestic situation, he said: "Today, the political scene includes those involved in forming a government that secures the participation of all political forces in this country. No doubt, as we think, that the formation of a national unity government is a general Lebanese demand."

We as the opposition emphasized that a national unity government, which realizes the true partnership, is the one able to face all challenges. We are following up the efforts, hear about interventions but we do not want to indulge in the comments of those who comment, especially when we are in the era of the so-called sovereignty, freedom and independence, for our government must in the final end receive the confidence of the Lebanese."
