Fadlallah: the opposition is keen to accelerate government formation

Member of Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah said "Internally, we are in a phase of waiting for the outcome of current contacts and consultations and the steps Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri will take towards the political forces to determine the proposed government formation formulas."

MP Fadlallah said, "Previously made contacts revolve around two things, the nature of the intended partnership and the overall political framework to govern the work of the government in the future."

The opposition is keen to speed up government formation, to benefit from the existing positive climates of rapprochement, reconciliations and inter-Arab convergence additional to the internal calm to form a launch point for a government capable of meeting current demands, political challenges and the growing economic and social burdens."
