A Hizbullah delegation headed by (Consultative) Shoura Council member of Hizbullah in Lebanon Sheikh Mohammad Yazbek made a visiting tour of the religious reference scholars of the Druze confession Sheikh Abu-Mohammad al-Jawad Waliyeddine, Sheikh Abu Yusuf Amin al-Sayegh and Sheikh Abu Said Amin Abu Ghannam.

At each stop the parties asserted the importance of co-existence, Islamic unity and adherence to Arabism which specially characterizes the history of the Mountain area.

Sheikh Mohammad Yazbek said "We look forward to the establishment of a national unity government, in which we are all partners in order to build this country on correct and proper basis, to bring back to Lebanon its dignity, honor and community that is integrated with each other."

His Eminence said: "This is our political, religious and social pledge, and we will continue these meetings in order to disallow any chance for those who want to fish in troubled water and to block opportunities from anyone who wants to deny this nation the smile, unity and dignity, meanwhile this Mountain remains a forerunner among seekers of unity."

His Eminence continued "We stand with this Mountain hand-in-hand, and heart-with-heart so that we can fully open up; from this point we express our appreciation to the great national leader Walid Jumblatt for the precious stands he took for the sake of Lebanon's unity, we also praise the historic meeting between him and His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah that is being translated on the ground to fortify and build the nation on sound and proper basis. May God help us on this unitary work."

The delegation began its tour from Ba'qaleen town where they met Sheikh Abu-Mohammad al-Jawad Waliyeddine, in the presence of a number of sheikhs and Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) officials in the region, then moved on to Sharon town to meet Sheikh Abu Yousuf Amin al-Sayegh, and concluded with a meeting with Sheikh Abu Said Amin Abu Ghannam.
