Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hussein Hajj Hassan expressed his hope to form a national unity government based on genuine partnership in political decision-making in order to face external challenges.

Hajj Hassan stressed to a packed festival in the city of Baalbek, saying that "the national opposition is open to all the national political parties in Lebanon," at the same time he warned against dependence on US dictates and wondered about "the coinciding role of the U.S. administration in Lebanon with the formation of government!"
