Ayatollah Fadlallah 

Ayatollah Fadlallah confirmed the importance of the interconnection step of communication Hizbullah took with the Druze reference authorities and prominent figures of Lebanon, stressing the need for such initiatives to involve all Lebanese communities, sects and political components.

He called for major conciliatory moves at Lebanese public level, stressing the need for meetings to begin at grassroots level, because that is what preserves political reconciliations taking place at the summit and gives them momentum, strength and scope. He also called for efficacious action to unify ranks, especially at the Muslim Sunni - Shiaa level, because it is conducive to the protection of the whole situation in Lebanon, additional to protecting the internal Islamic situation.

He saw that Muslims in Lebanon ought to work on consolidating the cultural and religious aspect, along side their national movement, to embark from a dynamic Muslim circle that protects Islamic unity, one that opens up to others from an open Islamic point of view and from a "Lebanonization" position whose implications hold concerns on internal and strategic levels alike.

Sheikh Yazbek 

After the meeting Sheikh Yazbek made an announcement saying: 

"We were honored to visit our Sayyed, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah May God protect him, in order to benefit from his guidance and to study the situation with him. We put him in light of the atmospheres of the visit we made to our dear Monotheists (Druze) of the Mountain. He was pleased and expressed great satisfaction with what happened, stressing the need for continued communication with the Monotheists and all Lebanese." 

"He also emphasized the need for the convergence of all religious scholars whether Monotheists, Muslims and Christians, in various areas of Lebanon because such convergence is the mainstay of keeping this nation and its unity."

"We will work according to his guides and recommendations, because he overlooks the world through this authentic Mohammadan Islam, the Islam open to God and man, all of man. In this sense, it was stressed, the formation of a national unity government in which all sides participate must be the aim, in order for Lebanon to be joyous and dignified.
