Sheikh Mohammad Yazbek, a Hizbullah official who sits on the party's Shura Council, said that an effective national unity government in which no one individual has the authority to monopolize the decision-making process, is urgently needed.
Speaking at an event in southern village of Boudai on Monday, Yazbek said that the country cannot be properly developed unless it was governed by a government based on partnership and national unity.
"Every citizen and every party should feel that they are part of this government, otherwise it will not be formed," he said.

Yazbek went on to denounce French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner for criticizing the concept of veto-power for Lebanon's opposition, asking rhetorically, "Do the Lebanese interfere in France's domestic affairs?"
