Khansa: A Street in Haret Hraik named after Martyr Moghnieh

The President of the Federation of the Southern Suburbs Municipalities Mr. Mohammad Said Khansa, announced in a statement today, that "In recognition of the heroic role of the resistance in the July War, the Council discussed the issue of the martyrdom of the commander Imad Moghniyeh, and the heroic acts this martyr had in the face of the Zionist enemy on the level of the nation in general and the South and the southern suburbs (Dahiyeh) in particular, where he played a great role in the defense of the Dahiyeh and its people against the Zionist aggression."

He added: "In recognition of this great mujahid, his precious sacrifices and in his honor, to emphasize his course of resistance against the enemy, after deliberations between the Council Members, the Council decided to give name the street extending between the old Airport Road and the periphery of the municipal reach (Martyr Imad Moghnieh Boulevard), passing within the scope of Ghobeiri municipality, crossing over Haret Hraik road, the ‘Resistance and Liberation Road, and ‘Sayyed Hadi Nasrallah' Road.
