Safa meets UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Williams

Hezbollah security Chief Wafiq Safa received UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Michael Williams, where they discussed relation affairs with the UNIFIL as well as the recent events that took place in the village of Khirbet Selm , in addition to Israel's repetitive violations of Lebanon's sovereignty especially in Kafar Shouba. They also discussed efforts to stop these violations.
During the meeting, Safa assured the importance that UNIFIL should abide by the provisions of resolution 1701, which regulate engagement between the Lebanese Army and the UNIFIL and do not allow UN forces to break into houses.
The two parties agreed upon reinforcing coordination meetings with UNIFIL units in Southern Lebanon in such a way that spreads confidence among the forces and the people.
