The head of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" Parliamentary bloc MP Mohammad Raad, said in an interview to be published tomorrow in "Minbar Attawhid" magazine, that "resistance is not in danger, its strength is what places it in the target circle", adding that "The situation in Lebanon is moving for the better especially in relation to the government formation process."

He considered "The Saudi - Syrian dialogue effort are complementary to the Lebanese internal efforts, it strengthens the situation in the country through the formation of a national accord government," noting that "The opposition is staying and would be against any attempt to impose conditions that push the Government away from its obligations contained in the ministerial statement."

With regard to the rapprochement with the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) he stressed saying that "there is a trend towards removing the causes of tension, to build on the basis of calming the situation, without discussing political options by taking stands, and adopting alliances and connections on the basis of approaching the opposition's position."

He ruled out "An amendment to UN Resolution 1701 or a new war on Lebanon and the region, especially on Iran, because any ‘Israeli' attack on Iran would be a prelude to a broader and more comprehensive war whose fire reaches the entire region."
