Hizbullah Shoura (Consultative) Council member His Eminence Sheikh Mohammed Yazbek, affirmed that "the Lebanese people have gotten over the difficult first step in forming a partnership government, and soon other steps will follow to put this government's priorities according to the wishes of all the Lebanese people and the interests of the homeland and the citizens being the economic and social situation and the collaboration between the army and the resistance at the top of these priorities."

His Eminence continued addressing the members of the electoral campaign team in a ceremony honoring their efforts in the city of Baalbek: "The Government of real participation and national unity would not have been possible if it were not for your choice in the election. Thanks to your voices the political decision for active participation came to be against the will of America and ‘Israel' and all the enemies of Lebanon."

He added: "Hence you were victorious and not your enemy, the issue is not as some dream it to be, whether minority or majority, because Lebanon is upheld by consensus and the intertwined arms."
His Eminence congratulated the army on its National Army Day and gave his blessings of approval to its stands and unity, which reflect "the bright image to the family of Lebanon."

He said: "We want the unified image of this country to be its shining face, it is through unity and solidarity that we can protect the homeland, and realize pride and dignity for our generations, in order for Lebanon to remain dear, strong and able to protect itself against anyone that dares assault it."
He added: "On Army Day and on the eve of the third anniversary of the Divine Victory, we emphasize that the victory will be followed by others, thanks to the resistance, the army and the people."
Regarding the meetings held by Hizbullah with the various Lebanese sides, His Eminence said: "We are optimistic and are working in earnest toward meeting and reconciliation, to shake hands with all the Lebanese, because we want Lebanon to turn into a single house and a single family," and wondered: "Why some people are bothered by this? Isn't non-meeting and non-reconciliation of the Lebanese to the advantage of Lebanon's enemies, ‘Israel' included, who want to trample on the interests of our people and citizens?!"

His Eminence saw that the American administration's renewal of sanctions on some Lebanese figures is an expression of being upset by what the agreement the Lebanese have reached on forming a unity and participation government. He described it as ‘interference in Lebanese affairs', and called on the Lebanese officials to face such intervention.

His Eminence also denounced U.S. president "Obama's" demand to the Arabs to waive further rights by demanding that they extend bridges of trust with ‘Israel', and asked: "How can this be when the ‘Israeli' enemy has cut off these bridges, through the continued building of settlements and the separation wall."
He added: "Yesterday threats were made against to Al-Aqsa, the Judaization of Al-Quds and the 1948-territories, and we will continue to stand by the resistance in Palestine until the return of its rightful owners and people."
