MP Raad: We insist on genuine partnership in a national unity government

He added: "...we face an opportunity to consolidate our internal situation and make it immune to the challenges and threats... and the way is through a national unity government. We can assure our people that the agreement and understanding regarding the political framework of a national unity government formula has been accomplished among the opposition forces together with the Prime Minister-designate, what remains is the distribution of portfolios and the naming of Ministers."

Raad hoped "This phase does not take long, despite our understanding to some complexities in that, but we have to proceed in a new workshop to bring to the fore the interests of the citizens and the homeland, and a political workshop to enhance coherence among the Lebanese, a developmental workshop that achieves balanced development in all regions, as well as an economic workshop that promotes the economic situation and stimulates living conditions of low-income people, at the same time promotes surplus generating investments for the benefit of the Lebanese."
