MP Fadlallah: Agreement on government formation achieves real & effective partnership

Member of Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah and in a statement he made in Parliament House he said "The agreement on the wording of the government formation, as set down by political understanding between the concerned sides, achieves real and effective partnership."
He said: "As for the distribution of portfolios, it is to be agreed upon between the Prime Minister-designate and each of opposition sides according to the agreed formula. This is what of the opposition forces agreed upon, each side determines which portfolio to demand for according to what it considers appropriate with its political weight and popular representation.

In his turn the PM-designate is responsible for maintaining openness to these demands so as to ensure balance, especially since the opposition forces had been represented in portfolios which they have the right to demand to keep or to agree with the PM-designate to have it replaced with whatever provides proportionate representation."
