\r\nHizbullah Deputy Secretary-General His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed that all these "Israeli" threats offer nothing new for us, we hear them but are not affected by them, we appreciate their need to make them, but they are of no effect on the ground. We in turn work on readying and making ourselves in full readiness at any given moment, we are not waiting for the moment in which "Israel" decides to fight us so to then prepare ourselves, because "Israel" is a belligerent hostile and may attack us at any moment. That\'s why we are fully ready to face a depraved enemy we do not know when it decides to attack, to prevent it from achieving its objectives, to add to defeats of May 2000, July 2006 and in the Gaza Strip in 2008. This is our approach to remain in the confrontation, never to give up our rights, pride and dignity.\r\n

\r\nDuring a commemoration ceremony in Al-Berjawi Husseiniyat Hall His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem said: "\'Israel\' is violating Lebanese airspace about twenty times every day, in other words it assaults resolution 1701, have we seen the Security Council take any serious and effective steps because of that? But, if there is one incident related to the resistance, the Security Council statement lines get immediately filled with talk about this one incident; some of these lines denounce what was done by \'Israel\', but gently. In any case, we do not rely on the Security Council or on the larger States. We have grown accustomed to taking our rights in our hands, through our resistance. Let everyone know that this resistance is a noble and legitimate right; no one can deny us our right, which is rather a duty for many still who do not engage in this role and task.
\r\nRegarding the Lebanese government formation issue, we have reached an agreement with the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister-designate on a government formation formula nearly ten days ago, and we consider recent developments do not affect or change the formula we have approved. This is the formula version of a national unity government and genuine partnership. I believe should the PM-designate come to Lebanon, he would not need more than 48 or 72 hours to form the government, since the issue now is related to some remaining ministries and a few parties with their own demands, which could be discussed and easily resolved.\r\n

\r\n

\r\nFrom our side as Hizbullah, we consider the government formula we have come to agree upon, a good formula, now subject to completion by appointment of ministers and commissioning the rest of the details, and then the country can take new further steps. We stand before a long period of reconstruction and treatment of the socio-economic status, the electricity and water problems and all the other complexities that afflict our nation; this is a great responsibility we must all get down to.\r\n
