Hizbullah foreign relations official Ammar Moussawi said on Sunday in the Bekaa Valley village of Younin that "the opposition has exerted every effort to accelerate the cabinet formation, unlike other parties who are deliberately stalling the process." He said other parties were delaying the formation until a more favorable regional situation emerged.

Moussawi called on Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri to facilitate the government formation "for his sake and the benefit of the country so that we can be ready to face any "Israeli" threat, even if it is unlikely."
