Rahhal: Solving the government crisis calls for calm & direct dialogue

Hizbullah Electronic Media Official Dr. Hussein Rahhal said: "Solving the government formation crisis calls for a calm and direct dialogue between all parties. A government cannot be formed through reciprocal media bombardment. We have said since the beginning that we stand by our allies in the national lebanese opposition; we are allies with the Free Patriotic Movement, not a broker for them. We are allies and we positively view and understand the just demands put forward by this second largest bloc in the Lebanese Parliament."

Rahhal continued: "We have felt through our communications that there is a true wish to arrive at a solution but this wish must be translated into frank, practical and direct dialogue, one that leads to a solution to the government crisis."

Rahhal concluded saying: "Through our unity we are able to reject 'Israeli' threats and interference as well as those of the Americans, who have every interest in disrupting any opportunity that leads to a real solution and to an actual national unity government that is capable of running this country's affairs."
