Hizbullah & Amal Leaderships in the South: stalling becomes boat-rocking procrastination that leads to chaos

The leaderships of Hizbullah and Amal movement in south Lebanon discussed recent developments in a meeting, after which they issued the following statement:
"The wound of absenting Imam al-Sadr and his two companions is a wide open national wound, that cannot be closed or healed but through the full unveiling of the circumstances of this major crime, and the return of the Imam and his companions to their families and people, and to punish anyone related to this crime.
"Those who were able to conceal this giant of an Imam failed to undermine his project, stances and way. The resistance started and continued, fighting tooth and nail, keeping Lebanon united in its people and its co-existence.
"All safety lies in the speedy birth of the forthcoming government, when foot-dragging it exceeds its norm it becomes procrastination and an ingress to shocks and chaos. This widens the climates of frustration and alarmism we see hanging over all the houses of the Lebanese today.
"We call for showing the Lebanese people some compassion, as they see officials but not responsibility, they see great personalities lacking diagnosis and solutions for their various accumulated crises that have burdened them, and quickly lead them to poverty and deprivation. They sleep and wake up to a stalemate of more stalling and division, without a ray of hope.
"At every stop, we have stressed our determination to facilitate the process of forming the government, we have demonstrated responsiveness and cooperation and continue to do so, stressing that the necessary primary prerequisite for achieving the desired objectives is to rise above malicious enmities, to avert the policy of settling accounts whose reality and essence is nothing more than the liquidation of the nation State with its components, institutions, people and stability.
"National accord among the country\'s various components is Lebanon\'s salvation and anchor to safety- no one is to bypass no matter how important their stature is. All talk outside the accord formula among the Lebanese is out of place and time. Such talk lacks realism and correctness and cannot be achieved anyway. All the Lebanese know that most advocates who call for bypassing national partnership suffer from a political light-weight complex, as they seeking opportunism and stir tension to obtain small scale interests at the expense of the homeland and its people.
"We have been and continue to be the carriers of the reconciliation banner among the Lebanese, during the good and bad times, away from all narrow calculations, because reconciliation is Lebanon\'s path and fate.
"It is regrettable that in a country targeted with challenges and major ‘Israeli\' existential threats, its reality is made vulnerable to divisions and its arena to prowlers, thus raising the level of these risks, which increases the appetite of aggression against it, and reinforces the citizens\' concerns about the unknown future."
