Sheikh Qaouk: We are ready to cooperate for accord and understanding to facilitate dialogue

Sheikh Nabil Qaouk, Hizbullah Official in South Lebanon, confirmed during a dinner hosted by the Foundation of the Wounded in Tyre city that "Those who pursue a path of conflict cannot produce accord and reconciliation. Meanwhile we are ready to cooperate to bring reconciliation and understanding and to facilitate dialogue. We do not accept to be tools in a project that curtails, singles out, weakens or breaks anyone."

Sheikh Qaouk felt that "What happened is Lebanon was transferred from the path of accord and harmony to a completely different path". Also, he stressed that "Lebanon has no strength that apart from resistance and national unity. It is why the resistance is most eager to promote national unity, facilitation and acceleration of the formation of a national unity government."

Qaouk brought to attention that "The U.S. Ambassador is the first to welcome this discordant step."
He added saying: "Anyone who wants to overcome the current stalemate, has only to resume dialogue with General Michel Aoun, since departure from the current crisis keeps coming back to the same point, to drop external decision, so that the Lebanese people can be together in a government of national accord."
