Sheikh Qassem to New PM-Designate: Benefit from Your Predecessors Experience
Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem expressed on Thursday hope that the new Prime Minister Designate would benefit from the 75-day experience of his predecessor.
Speaking during an Iftar organized in Beirut, Sheikh Qassem called on the upcoming PM-Designate to hold on to rules of dialogue and coordination with all partners. "This is how a government of national unity can be formed in less than 48 hours because the level of differences doesn't deserve all this delay," his eminence said.
Sheikh Qassem pointed out that dialogue and mutual concessions would facilitate the government formation process, stressing that consultations shouldn't take place in the media.
His eminence noted that Hizbullah was adhering to the formation of a national-unity that's based on the 15-10-5 formula. His eminence stressed that the opposition was united, adding that the opposition either enters as a whole in the government or boycott it also as a whole. "Either we assume our full responsibility as effective partners in this country or otherwise we refuse to be perjuries in the government."
