Settlement Organizations: Settlement freeze versus demolition of Palestinian houses

A new response to the constant demands and pressures of freezing settlement construction was innovated by settlement organizations, where a demand was presented to the "Israeli" jurisdiction in order to demolish Palestinian homes in the West Bank.

Abdallah Hammad, head of Al Quds Center said that settlers work as a bee hive and a well integrated organization when it comes to facing the pressures imposed on their government.

The number of Palestinian houses to be demolished might reach to thousands. "Israel" has demolished more than 1600 Palestinian houses during the period between 2000 and 2007, and orders of demolishing approximately 5000 houses were issued during the period.

In addition, Secretary General of Palestinian affairs Mohammad Sobeih said in a press release on Tuesday that this demolition policy is not new as the Zionist state has adopted it since 1948, but demolition is sky rocketing now a days and the methods vary.
