The Deputy Secretary-General of Hizbullah His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, called for forming a national unity government, saying "No one in Lebanon, no matter how important his position is, can have monopoly over governing", noting that Lebanon now can rise with its community and choose what it wants in isolation of outside gambles, provided everyone works jointly together.

During a memorial service at Alberjawi Husseinyat Hall in Bir Hassan Sheikh Qassem encouraged constructive dialogue, away from the media, stressing that the purpose of dialogue is the accomplishment of a national unity government. His Eminence also advised adopting the 15-10-5 formula, adding: "When the government is formed everyone will win opposition and loyalists alike as well as the Prime Minister-designate."

On the other hand, the deputy secretary general of Hizbullah saw that "President Barack Obama works on doing away with the Palestinian issue", criticizing the three-way summit held in New York between Obama, the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and enemy government Prime Minister Netanyahu.
His Eminence also stressed that "Armed resistance is the only guarantee and the only solution to liberate the land and face the American-Zionist project in the region."
