Raad: National unity government takes the homeland from the crisis of division & renders it able to face the next stage

Head of Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Mohammad Raad said: "If we are to continue the preservation of our homeland dignified and invulnerable, we should invoke all the elements of strength the most important of which is to preserve internal cohesion, national unity, and to disassociate ourselves from sliding down the age old divisions, and sectarian and confessional seditions."

Raad, during a memorial service in the southern town of Zifta, pointed to a national unity government that delivers the homeland from the crisis of division, enabling it to address the prerequisites of the next stage and face the various internal challenges and external ones manifested in the constant ‘Israeli' aggressions and threats.

Raad continued: "Our insistence on a national unity government springs from this point, one through which true partnership can be achieved on the basis of 15-10-5 (ministerial allocations formula) agreement upon which has taken efforts and time and was welcomed by all Lebanese circles."

Raad concluded saying, "We welcome regional developments and meetings which will positively reflect on our internal situation, noting that our internal cohesion ought to act as a receptor to regional positives."
