Abu Zeinab: Lebanese consensus exists on forming a national unity government
Hizbollah Site Staff, 29-09-2009
Hizbullah Political Council Member Ghaleb Abu Zeinab, pointed out the presence of some political exceptions and disputes that have no interest in seeing a national unity government formed, stressing that these voices will not have any effect because of the existing Lebanese consensus on the Lebanese interest in upholding such a government, especially in this phase.
Abu Zeinab, and after meeting with the former President Emile Lahoud in al-Yarzeh, expressed optimism toward the subject of forming a government at the current stage, saying that now exists a possibility for its formation.
Abu Zeinab pointed out the good intentions and motives of the opposition in particular, toward their facilitation and cooperation being at its utmost level, adding that he and President Lahoud discussed various issues.
On another level, Abu Zeinab condemned the Zionist violations against al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that what is happening there is an attempt by the Zionist enemy to impose a fait accompli scenario, by trying to enter Aqsa Mosque to impose themselves as a main actor in the sacred sights and monotheistic religions.
