Islamic Consultative Forum strongly condemned Zionist aggression on the blessed Aqsa Mosque

Hizbollah Site Staff, 30-09-2009
The Islamic Consultative Forum held an emergency meeting in Beirut to discuss the Zionist violations and abuses of the Islamic and Christian sanctities in al-Quds (Jerusalem) and their latest crime of storming al-Aqsa Mosque.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Hizbullah, the Islamic Jamaah (body), Islamic Unity Movement, the Islamic Action Front, the Muslim Scholars Gathering, al-Tahrir (Liberation) Party, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas and the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine.
After deliberation and discussions of the Zionist aggression's implications on blessed al-Aqsa Mosque, the participants issued the following statement:
First: The meeting condemned the continuing Zionist attack on the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque, which comes in the context of the Zionist plan to take it gradually, in preparation for its demolition to build the claimed temple in its place.
Second: We warn the Zionist enemy of going too far in its aggression against Islamic and Christian sanctities in al-Quds (Jerusalem) and against harming the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque, an act we consider aggression against the dignity of the Islamic nation and its faith.
Third: Targeting the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque by Jewish extremist groups and Zionist occupation soldiers, places the Zionist occupation government under full responsibility for any attack targeting the Mosque, which calls for a broad scale deterrent Arab and Muslim response worthy of the status of al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque.
Fourth: We condemn the official Arab and international silence toward the Zionist attacks in al-Quds and call on the Arab League and Islamic Conference Organizations to take firm action against the usurper Zionist entity, to cut off all diplomatic and economic relations and stop all forms of normalization with this criminal enemy. This is the least of duty to be done for the Muslims' first ‘Qibla' (The place toward which Muslims turned in prayer, after Prophet Muhammad (P) blessed Mecca became the Qibla).
Fifth: We demand the forces, movements and the Arab and Islamic parties, as well as the free of the world to quickly act in defense of al-Quds (Jerusalem) and al-Aqsa Mosque, to consider it the first priority on their agendas, and not to underestimate what the occupation prepares of Judaisation, destruction and imposition of a fait accompli situation on the ground, to preempt the so-called final status negotiations for the Palestinian cause.
Sixth: We call on all media to take their leading role of championing the cause of al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque to expose the Zionist occupation's schemes and crimes, and debunk the falsity of their alleged claims.
Seventh: We emphasize that the resistance escalation against the Zionist occupation is a practical response to face pending threats against al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque; hence we call on all Palestinian resistance factions to unite their efforts to confront Zionism's practices and schemes in al-Quds and occupied Palestine.
Eighth: We condemn the campaign of arrests and summonses the Zionist Occupation Authorities are carrying out against the Maqdisiyeen (Jerusalemites) in their forefront Sheikh Ikr'mah Sabri- head of the Supreme Islamic Council in al-Quds. We warn the Zionist enemy of going too far in the implementation of criminal conspiracies against the background of a siege imposed on al-Aqsa Mosque.
Ninth: We call for making next Friday 2/10/2009 a day of solidarity with al-Quds and the al-Aqsa Mosque by holding sit-ins, rallies, popular marches and dedicating the Friday sermons to talks on the Zionist dangers gazing the Aqsa Mosque.
