Netanyahu defends “Israeli army ethics”
Local Editor, 30-10-2009
The "Israeli" Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu has refused questioning of what he described as "Israeli army ethics" as former "Israeli" president Shamon Peres said that the peace process which started with former Prime Minister Rabin hasn't been completed yet.
Netanyahu's made his speech during a memorial ceremony marking the 14th anniversary of the assassination of "Israeli" Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, at Mt. Herzl cemetery in Al Quds (Jerusalem).
Netanyahu's statement coincides with the Goldstone's report which charges "Israeli" army of committing war crimes against Palestinians during the aggression on Gaza. The UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) has adopted a resolution, endorsing the Goldstone report on the Gaza war, despite efforts by "Israeli" leaders to block the motion.
"Israeli" media say President Barack Obama will deliver a recorded message calling on "Israelis" to remember Rabin's legacy of peace.
