Sheikh Qassem receives the Turkish President-Adviser

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary-General, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem received the Adviser to the President of Turkey Mr. Irshad Hermezly, where a review of the situation and developments in the region took place between the two.

His Eminence said: "Turkey has a major role in the region and the position the Turkish officials adopted regarding the aggression on Gaza, left a positive impact in the hearts of the Lebanese, because it is a stand against injustice and aggression, for the Palestinian rights."

He added: "Turkey's opening up to the region and its attempts to build alliances and strengthen ties between regional countries is an effective response against the seditions instigated under various headings, the sure defense is naturally to take advantage of all the capabilities and resources to serve the interests of the region in the face of the dangers of fragmentation, weakening and roving wars."

His Eminence emphasized that "Israel" embodies the real threat, which exercises daily aggression against Palestine and Lebanon. Increasing solidarity among the peoples and countries of the region with the Palestinian issue and Palestinian people's rights forms a serious blow to the expansionist "Israeli" project and the major powers supporting it.

He added: "Here is a resistance that provided heroic epics through which it inflicted "Israel" with defeat, liberated the land and broke the Zionist expansionist tide, giving roots to the equation of justice against bullying and occupation".

The adviser to the Turkish president declared saying: "We've talked about all matters that concern the region, and the Turkish vision toward the region and the Islamic world."
"The meeting was very interesting and I benefited greatly from the views of His Eminence Sheikh (Sheikh Naim Qassem) on this subject."
