This time according to sources, Egyptian authorities arrested two "venturing Israeli citizens" on Tuesday after entering into the Egyptian territory across the border in central Sinai. The authorities questioned the two "Israelis" and released them as they returned home.
The agency «Middle East News» has reported that while Egyptian security forces had been monitoring the Egyptian-"Israeli" border to prevent infiltration and smuggling, the two were seen entering into the Egyptian territory at the international mark 36 in the middle of Sinai.
Upon arrest and interrogation, the two told the Egyptian authorities they were on a "tourism trip".
Concerned authorities were notified, who in their turn took over the case, informed the "Israeli" side of the incident and returned the two men after questioning them.
