The High Islamic Shiite Council deplored the verbal abuse exposed on Ayatullah Sayyad Ali Sistani, and the Shiite sect around the world.

In a statement during the regular meeting or both the legitimacy and operational subsidiaries, the council called for a stop for those disgraceful behaviors and punish those who came up with it. It also asked for control of satellite channels that act on sectarian incitement and atonement, warning of the risks of such acts on the Islamic world.

In another context, reconciliations were welcomed and the council asked for its popularization for what it best for the national unity, and what is best for the Lebanese people, army, and resistance when it comes to facing the Zionist continuous threats.

The meeting also sought that Syria represents the strategic depth of Lebanon and relations between the two countries can not be but natural and special, considering that Prime Minister Sa'ad Hariri's visit to Syria comes along with the natural historical flow of the two countries.

The meeting also affirmed on the importance of dealing with the administrative appointments on the basis of qualifications, integrity, experience, and according to specific standards. It also sought the necessity of establishing the National Organization for the abolition of political sectarianism, to get out of the sectarian issues and to abide with Al Ta'ef agreement. The meeting also asked the government to solve what they promised of living crisis, and to put within its priorities the implementation of decided development projects.

At the end of the meeting, everyone was sorry for the carelessness of the Arabs regarding what the Zionist enemy is digging in Al Quds, putting Al Aqsa in a dangerous spot. They also asked the Egyptian government to reconsider building the steel wall, and to end the siege on the Palestinian people in Gaza.
