Hanieh Asks International Community to Hold "Israeli" Aggressions & Asks Egypt to Stop its Media Campaign

Ismaeil Hanieh, Palestinian Prime Minister, confirmed that his government is carefully following up with the Zionist military escalation againt the Gaza Strip, excluding the outbreak of a broad war on Gaza, considering that the Zionist leadership's statements are of its psychological warfare.

Hanieh also affirmed that his government is predicting what the Zionists have in mind of dangerous aggressions which were repeatedly shown in the Gaza Strip. During the government's weekly meeting, Hanieh called on the national community to take responsibility in holding the Zionists' aggressions and to put an end for the security deterioration caused by the "Israelis". He also referred to many options for the Palestinian government to adabt in response to the Zionist violations.

In addition, Hanieh reassured his condemntion regarding the escalating "Israeli" aggressions on Gaza, asking the Palestinian sides to strengthen the national consensus and work on cooperative basis for the sake of the Palestinians, and dispatch all possible aggressions.

Regarding the Egyptian soldier that was killed earlier in Rafah, Hanieh stated that the government has decided to investigate the accident, in order to know the truth and take proper steps to maintain the Eygeptian-Palestinian relationships. Furthermore, he added that the investigations will take into consideration the circumstances due to the building of the steel wall and the status of pain lived by the Palestinian people. He continued saying that the results will be known to all and that there will be no shame in giving out the results to the Egyptians.

Hanieh also convicted the uncontrolled severe campaign addressed by the Egyptian media on Gaza after the killing of the Egyptian soldier. Hanieh stated that this is not the media that represents the history and authenticity of Egypt, niether does is represent the natural brotherhood between Palestinians and Egyptians.
