Hamas Praises International Story of Resistance Festival

Ismail Hanieh, Hamas leader, praised on Tuesday the Story of Resistance film festival for supporting the anti-"Israeli" resistance movement.
Hanieh insisted in a message carried by Moj News Agency to the international festival's closing ceremony, on legitimate right of the Lebanese and Palestinians against the Zionist regime.

The Hamas leader also mentioned the year ago Gaza war saying: "This day is a great, sacred day and the people of Gaza and Palestine are now stronger a year after the war." He also added that the resistance movement is now much ingrained and everybody respects the rights of the people of Palestine.

The film festival is the second International Story of Resistance Film Festival in the presence of many officials and directors from all over the world. The festival held its closing ceremony in Beirut, in which many documentaries, musical clips and animations on anti-Zionist resistance movements were screened.

Hanieh further thanked the organizers of the festival for their support of the resistance, and expressed deep hopes that this festival is to be held next year in Al Quds.
