A Palestinian Security Site in the Gaza Strip, Al Majd, issued a report in which it revealed the Shin Bet ("Israel's" Intelligence) adopts new ways to spy on the resistance in Palestine.

According to the report, Palestinian civilians receive strange phone calls of international numbers on their land lines as well as mobile phones from the Shin Bet, who claimed to be international and Palestinian research centers aiming at conducting surveys.

Palestinian citizens said they were asked about sensitive issues related to Palestinian internal security.

According to the report, the Shin Bet asked Palestinian civilians about the resistance, its missiles, and the places where resistant fighters exist. For instance, among the questions was "If you find resistant fighters beside your home, will you protect them or force them out?"

On their part, Security apparatuses in the Gaza Strip had warned citizens from such undercover intelligence phone calls that conduct polls on the citizens' opinions on issues that are sensitive security information.

Security sources called upon Palestinian citizens to block such phone calls, as it is the "Israeli" intelligence conducting these calls, which cunningly aim at targeting Palestinian resistant fighters and those who support them.

Sources said this mission is basically carried out by the Shin Bet intelligence, with the help of other bodies such as Unit 504, which mainly operates on the borders of neighboring regions and targets citizens living there such as Lebanon, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Egypt.

Al Majd Website had said earlier that Palestinian resistant fighters have been receiving phone calls from "Israeli" intelligence and claim they know everything about the resistant fighters and threaten of targeting them.
