Local Editor
In the participation of more than 100 Palestinian businessmen and women, the Turkish-Palestinian Trade and Investment Seminar will inaugurate today its agenda for the upcoming three days in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
Head of Investment committee, Jaafar Hadib, said that in the seminar, an official delegation will take part, headed by the National Economy Minister, Hassan Abu Labda, who will launch the seminar with Zafer Caglayan, Turkish Minister of State for Foreign Trade.
"During this seminar, meeting between businessmen and women of both side will take place, in addition to visits to industrial areas in Turkey", Jaafar Hadib said. He added that the Palestinian part will be presenting investing offers in Palestine.
Hadib added that many economic issues will take part in talks of joint interest, especially regarding developing Turkish-Palestinian business relations, where Palestinian delegation from important private sector institutions will participate. Mr. Hadib hoped at the end that next year the seminar will be held in Palestine.
Turkey has been for quite some time at its best level in its relations with Palestine. It has been developing its relations on the political, cultural, and economic level, hoping for better joint-interest relations.
