Ahmadinejad: The Iranian Nation Will Never Let the West Impose Oppression

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stressed that despite US imposed sanctions against Iran, the West is worried over the Iranian Nation's awakening.

During the launching a major industrial project in Iranian Qazvin province Monday, Ahmadinejad said, "Western powers are neither concerned over atomic bombs nor worried about nuclear missiles, but are concerned over the awakening of the Iranian nation".

He added that the western fears are because they know if Iranian people are awakened, then they can help in reaching the highest peaks in the world.

"The Iranian nation will never ever let them impose oppression on other nations. The Iranian nation will never let them create an economic system in the world to waste the achievements of those who are hard-working", the Iranian President stressed in reference to the west.

Regarding the recent twin bombs in Iranian city of Zahedan, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said, "The terrorist attack was in continuation of the recent sanctions resolution imposed by the UN Security Council against Iran".

He also added that his country possesses evidence which prove that the NATO and UN forces in Afghanistan and Pakistan are supplying terrorist groups with weapons, in addition to financial and intelligence support.

The US has long wanted to impose sanctions on Iran over its peaceful program, and succeeded with the UN Security Council decision.

Iran repeatedly stressed that its nuclear program is peaceful, for it is under the supervision of the UN nuclear watchdog, in addition to being a signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
