President Assad: Occupation is the Reason Behind all Disputes in the Region
Local Editor
Syrian President Bashar Assad stressed that the reason behind all disputes in the region goes back to the occupation, starting with the British occupation, the French, and reaching the "Israeli" occupation.
In this context, President Assad believed that the Zionist enemy does not stand out as a partner in the settlement operation in the occupied territories.
In an interview with Bild German Newspaper, concerning the occupied Al Quds (Jerusalem), President Assad expressed that "Israel" is not likely to accept and share the holy city with the Palestinians.
The Syrian President reminded that the Zionist entity has announced Al Quds (Jerusalem) as the eternal capital of its alleged "Israeli" state; while on the other hand, Arabs seek Eastern Al Quds (Jerusalem) to be the capital of a Palestinian state.
Concerning the Iranian nuclear program, President Bashar Assad stressed on the importance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region, believing that this issue is inevitable, excluding any possibility of Iran purchasing nuclear weapons.
